STRINGS & STROKES

In September 2017, The Raj Art Initiative supported 10 year old Aarav Verma to weave music and hues of his painting through a project entitled Strings & Strokes.

Aarav was to paint live during the performance of sitar maestro and Grammy Award nominee Ustad Shujaat Husain Khan at Sri Sathya Sai Auditorium, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

This feature set a milestone for the art initiative that not just curates and creates art exhibitions and public art projects, but also focuses on incubating talent by bringing together skill and creativity.

THE FLOWER OF HOPE

"The Flower of Hope", was a wonderful initiative by Rahul Chaudhury and Rahul Jain for the beautiful and specially-abled residents of Cheshire Homes, in New Delhi.

The intention was to bring colour and some creative energy into their home, with the hope to build future weaving projects with them.
